One week for the World Series in Gold Coast

Last year Mario Mola took the victory and Fernando Alarza was second 

The next 8 and 9 of April will be competing in the second stage of the Triathlon World Series (WTS) in Australia and this time it will be on sprint distance.

We have good memories of this test, since last year the World Champion Mario Mola he got his third consecutive victory in the 2016 World Series and Fernando Alarza he climbed to the second drawer of the podium in the test ahead of Alistair Brownlee.

For this edition in the men's category he has already confirmed his attendance Javier Gómez Noya, winner of the first appointment of the WTS in Abu Dhabi, Mario Mola, Fernando Alarza y Vicente Hernández which debuts this 2017 in the WTS. Among the favorites we find the South Africans Richard Murray, that comes from getting the victory in the Super League Triathlon, Henri Schoeman, the Mexican Crisanto Grajales, or the Portuguese Joao Silva. The Brownlee brothers are not on the starting list.

In the women Carolina Routier will be our only representative, with a recent sixth place in the Mooloolaba World Cup I'm sure he will fight to be in the top positions. The women's test will be held on Saturday, April 8 at 14:06 (6:06 AM Spanish time) while the men's test will do it at 16:06 (08:06 AM Spanish time)
