1 month for the Villa de Madrid Duathlon

Take advantage of the unique opportunity to compete on the Paseo de la Castellana

Next March 3, the heart of the Spanish capital will beat to the rhythm of the Duathlon Villa de Madrid, an event that returns with force to one of the most emblematic settings of the city: the Paseo de la Castellana.

This competition, part of the DU&TRI CUP circuit, It not only challenges athletes with its demanding distances, but also offers a unique experience due to the beauty and symbolism of its route.

A Unique Event in the Heart of Madrid

The Villa de Madrid Duathlon stands out for its uniqueness, as it takes place in full Paseo de la Castellana, one of the main arteries of Madrid.

This year, participants will have the opportunity to compete in two distances: the STANDAR (10 km run, 40 km bike ride and 5 km run) and the SPRINT (5 km run, 20 km bike ride and 2,5 km run).

The STANDARD distance, which also crowns the Madrid Champion, promises to be a challenge for the most experienced, while the SPRINT is designed for those looking to challenge their limits in a more accessible competition.

Emblematic Tours

The route of this duathlon is, without a doubt, one of its greatest attractions.

Passing through iconic places like the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Castile Square and Columbus Square, offers an unparalleled visual spectacle for both competitors and spectators.

The cycling section, which takes place entirely on asphalt, allows participants in the SPRINT distance to choose between mountain or road bikes, while the STANDAR is exclusively for road bikes. It is important to note that the test allows drafting, excluding the use of “goat” type bicycles.
