Javier Gómez Noya and Gwen Jorgensen take the 2ª stage of the Island House Triathlon

The current ITU world champions continue their dominance in the Island House Triathlon, today Noya and Jorgensen have won the 2ª stage and increase their advantage in the general.

The second one consisted of a "Olympic Enduro", An Olympic distance test, but divided into 3 triathlons of 500m-13,3km-3,3km, all done in a row, so there have been 8 transitions.

The women were the first to compete, under strong heat and high humidity. After the first 500m of swimming and the 13,3 of cycling, three triathletes arrived together to the first T2, Jorgensen, Duffy and Norden, but in the first meters of the first race on foot, the American was going alone in search of victory .

 After her Duffy and Norden did all the competition together, until the last race on foot where Duffy managed to breach on Swedish. Finally victory for the world champion Gwen Jorgensen with a time of 2: 01: 30. After her in second position Flora Duffy to 32 '' and Lisa Norden to 57 '' of the winner. In fourth and fifth position, Alicia Kaye and Rachel Klamer arrived more than a minute away from Norden.
