World Triathlon confirms another positive from a Russian triathlete

World Triathlon has published a release confirming a new positive in the world of triathlon.

This time it was the Russian triathlete Alexander Bryukhankov that tested positive in the 2021 Sprint and Relay Triathlon European Championship held in June

The athlete You have the right to request the analysis of sample B and to challenge the imposition of the provisional suspension before the Court of Arbitration for Sport - Anti-Doping Division (CAS ADD).

 Bryukhankov had an adverse analytical result (APA) for recombinant erythropoietin (EPO) (S.2 peptide, hormones, growth factors, related substances and mimetics).
