Alexis Rodriguez and Sara Martín win the Cros de Fuentemolinos Duathlon. Qualifier for the Spanish Championship.

On a spectacular day for duathlon practice, if it had not been for the wind in some areas of the route, the qualifier for the Spanish Duathlon Cros Championship was held in the Burgos town of Fuentemolinos.

In the men's event, Alexis Rodríguez, from the Salamanca Triathlon Club, surprised to win the first position and thus overcome, after a tough race, the great duathlete and winner of the 2010 Duathlon Cross Ranking, José Almagro.

On the other hand, in the women's event, the first position on the podium went to Sara Martín, thanks to her strength and experience in the bike segment, leaving Monica Ortín and Vaness González in second and third position respectively.

In the club category, the first position has been for Stadium Casablanca-Fertium, followed by Triathlon Salamanca and Ecosport Triathlon Alcobendas in second and third position respectively.
