Anna Godoy and Chente Hernández Top 10 in the European Cup in Quarteira

The Portuguese town of Quarteira yesterday became the scene of a new edition of the CTriathlon European competition, an event that had a notable Spanish representation.

Among the 18 triathletes from our country who participated, Anna Godoy y Vicente Hernández, popularly known as Chente, who achieved positions of honor by placing themselves among the ten best in the competition.

In the women's competition, Anna Godoy achieved a creditable fourth position, only surpassed by the British Sophie Coldwell, his compatriot Georgia Taylor-Brown and the Russian Anastasia Abrosimova.

Godoy finished with a total time of 02:01:48, just seconds away from reaching the podium, which underlines the intensity and close level of the event.

In the men's race, Chente Hernández finished eighth in an event won by Hugo Milner of Great Britain, followed by Vincent Luis and Aurelien Jem
