Crushing victory of Javier Gómez Noya in the European Triathlon Championship

Javier Gómez Noya has clearly prevailed in Eliat, proclaiming himself the 2012 Triathlon European Champion. The second and third place went to the Russians Alexander Bryukhankov and Ivan Vasiliev respectively.

Everything has been decided in the race where Javier left the Transition with 40 seconds behind the French Tony Moulai and the Russian Bryukhankov. Javier caught up with them with total clarity in the first kilometers, winning the finish line with an advantage of 20 seconds.

Highlight the great performance of the Spaniards where Mario Mola has managed to finish in 6th position. The rest of the Spanish representation has been  Fernando Alarza 12th, Ivan Raña 16th and Josemi Perez 28th.
