The Spanish Triathlon Federation has published a preview of the competition calendar for 2012.

• 22 January- Spanish Winter Triathlon Championship- Jaca (Huesca).
• 3 March- Spanish Medium Distance Triathlon Championship-Valencia.
• 18 March- Spanish Duathlon Championship by Autonomous Teams- Castilla León (possibly Ávila, to be confirmed).
• 24 March- Duathlon Cros de Fuentemolinos.
• 15 April- Riaza Duathlon- Qualifier for the Spanish Duathlon Championship.
• 21 and 22 April- Spanish Time Trial Duathlon Championship by teams- Soria.
• 28 and 29 April- Spanish Elite Duathlon Championship Age Groups, Under 23, Junior, Cadet and Paraduathlon.
• May 5- Melilla Triathlon- Qualifier for the Spanish Triathlon Championship.
• May 12- Ecotrimad. Medium Distance Triathlon of the Community of Madrid. Buitrago de Lozoya.
• 25, 26 and 27 May- Madrid Triathlon. World Series and Qualifier for the Spanish Triathlon Championship.
• May 27- Half Calella- Medium Distance Triathlon
• 2 and 3 June- National League of Clubs- Canet d´en Berenguer-Valencia.
• 16 and 17 June- Triathlon World Cup and Qualifier for the Spanish Triathlon Championship- Banyoles- Girona.
• July 29- Long Distance Triathlon World Championship-Vitoria.
• 1 and 2 for September- European Championship of Triathlon Sub 23 and Youth and Qualifier for the Championship of Spain of Triathlon- Águilas -Murcia.
• 15 and 16 for September- Spanish Elite Triathlon Championship Age Groups, Sub 23, Junior, Cadet and Paratriathlon.
• September 30- Calella Challenge- Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship
