Belgium wins the mixed relays at the Lisbon World Cup
Spain has been sixth
Today was held in Lisbon, the first day of the Triathlon World Cup, where the Olympic qualification test of the mixed relays was held
This competition had 15 teams and offered 3 direct places for the games of Tokyo 2020.
Spain before the foreseeable classification of 3 men and 2 women in the individual events of Tokyo, would automatically have the place assured in the mixed relay.
The Spanish mixed relay has been composed of Miriam Casillas, Anna Godoy, Fernando Alarza y Antonio Serrat
The test consisted of doing a super sprint triathlon for each member of the team.
In the first round the Norwegian team was the first to complete it, followed by Switzerland and Belgium, Spain with Miriam Casillas was sixth losing 18 seconds.
In the second round, Italy and Denmark went ahead, leading by 15 seconds to Norway, Belgium and Spain With Fernando Alarza who was still sixth
In the third round, Switzerland was first, followed by Belgium at 9 seconds and by Denmark at 16. Spain with Anna Godoy dropped to 8th place.
In the last batch Belgium with Martel Van Riel they have sentenced getting victory for their team. The second position has been for Italy followed by Switzerland
Norway was fourth, Denmark fifth, Spain finally finished in sixth position with Antonio Serrat who finished in sixth position in his batch.
