This Sunday the Xterra Spain championship is celebrated

Cieza will host this Sunday 2 June headquarters of the Xterra Championship of Spain 2013, valid proof for the Xterra Europe Tour and qualifying for the Xterra Word Championship of Hawaii. The event will bring together the world triathlon elite in one of the toughest competitions known. There will be more than 400 athletes from the United States, South America, Europe and Australia, among more than 20 different nationalities.

El Xterra Championship Spain ,will consist of a 1.500-meter swimming segment in the Quípar reservoir, followed by a tour in bike a 33-kilometre mountain race and a 10-kilometre mountain race on foot along paths and trails on the slopes of Mount Atalaya and Cerro del Castillo, next to the Segura River as it passes through Cieza.
