Ceuta is already an official sponsor of the FETRI
The Autonomous City of Ceuta has become an official sponsor of the Spanish Triathlon Federation as a result of a collaboration agreement, which was signed in Madrid on the occasion of the celebration of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR).
The event was attended by the president of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, the president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, José Hidalgo Martín, the Minister of Economy and Employment of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Guillermo Martínez Arcas, the president of the Ceuta Triathlon Federation and two representatives of the Spanish team, José Miguel Pérez and Fernando Alarza.
In this event, the president of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, highlighted the support for a sport like triathlon and how Ceuta expands across the five continents with a link as basic for human beings as the coexistence and disseminating to the whole world the values that the city of Ceuta and sports sustain, which are tolerance and the mixture of cultures.
For his part, José Hidalgo highlighted the importance of the agreement in these difficult times, and the commitment of the Spanish Triathlon Federation to carry the name of Ceuta in the uniformity of the Spanish team throughout the world. In addition, Ceuta's image will be promoted in the Spanish championships, and it will have a promotional display in the world series that will be held in Madrid on June 4 and 5.
The agreement through the current tourism revitalization plan, whose name, “Ceuta 2+2, Two Seas, Two Continents”, ended with the signature of the president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, José Hidalgo Martín, and by the Minister of Economy and Employment of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Guillermo Martínez Arcas.
