Challenge Family and the European Triathlon Union (ETU) join forces
Challenge Family and the European Triathlon Union (ETU) join forces to offer the 2012 European Middle and Long Distance Triathlon Championships with a high standard of quality in both events.
Challenge Kraichgau and Challenge Roth have been chosen as the two venues. On June 10th, Challenge Kraichgau will host the 2012 European Middle Distance Triathlon Championships, officially titled “Kraichgau ETU Challenge Half Distance Triathlon European Championships.” The event will include both Elite and Age Group categories and will consist of a 1,9 km run, a 90 km bike ride, and a final 21 km run.
In July, specifically on the 8th, the legendary long-distance triathlon, Challenge Roth, will be held, which will also be part of the European calendar of the ETU, European Triathlon Union, under the name of “Roth ETU Challenge Long Distance Triathlon European Championships” where Age Group and Elite triathletes will meet to fight for the title of European Long Distance Champion after completing the course of 3.8 km of running, 180 km in the cycling segment to finish with 42.2 km of running.
