Challenge Family and the European Triathlon Union (ETU) join forces

Challenge Family and the European Triathlon Union (ETU), join forces to offer the 2012 Mid and Long Distance Triathlon European Championship with a high quality standard in both tests.

Challenge Kraichgau and Challenge Roth, have been the two chosen venues. On June 10, Challenge Kraichgau will host the 2012 European Medium Distance Triathlon Championship, under the name of “Kraichgau ETU Challenge Half Distance Triathlon European Championships”, welcoming both categories, Elite and Age Groups and which will take place over the distance of 1,9 km of running, 90 km in the cycling segment to finish again with 21 km of running.

In the month of July, specifically the 8th, the mythical long distance triathlon, Challenge Roth, will be held, which will also be part of the European calendar of the ETU, European Triathlon Union, under the name of “Roth ETU Challenge Long Distance Triathlon European Championships “Where triathletes from Age Groups and Elite will come together to fight for the title of European Long Distance Champion after finishing the 3.8 km race on foot, 180 km in the cycling segment to finish with 42.2 km of race to foot.
