Cidade de Lugo Fluvial rounds off the weekend with the men's and women's Triathlon titles

The Iberdrola Triathlon League and the Men's Triathlon League celebrated the third day on a sunny morning in Águilas, Murcia, in which the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial managed to add two more titles, the male and the female of the Spanish SuperSprint Triathlon Championship by Clubs 2 × 2, to add to the three he had achieved in Saturday's tests.

The Lugo team Leader of both Leagues after playing the first three days in Águilas and getting all the victories except for the national Women's Couples Relay on Saturday, which escaped in favor of Náutico de Narón.

In weather conditions much more stable than Saturday, with permanent sun and quite hot. In the first place, the men's events of the exciting Spanish SuperSprint Triathlon Championship for 2 × 2 Clubs were disputed, in which three couples from each team are accompanying and alternating to complete a double SuperSprint each, and a total of four triathlons of this distance, starting and finishing two athletes, and with four athletes in the intermissions.

A competition for strategy that was highly contested and was not defined practically until the end after a tough fight between the winners with the rest of the podium and also Diablillos de Rivas. The Cidade de Lugo prevailed ahead of Inforhouse Santiago and Saltoki Trikideak in the First Division.

With even more emotion, and more teams involved in the fight for the podium, the Spanish SuperSprint Triathlon Championship for Women's 2 × 2 Clubs took place.

The Cidade de Lugo Fluvial fought with Prat Triatló 1994 for many segments, without ever ending up detaching itself from other clubs such as Diablillos de Rivas, Saltoki Trikideak or Náutico de Narón.

The push in the last segment of the Lucences allowed them to win with a few meters of advantage and tranquility over Diablillos de Rivas, who did a great job in the test, and on Náutico de Narón, who returned to the podium after their good performance on Saturday .

In the Open Women's category of the national SuperSprint Triathlon championship for 2 × 2 Clubs, the victory went to Tragaleguas.org, followed by Triathlon Águilas Primaflor and by La 208 Triathlon Club.

In the Men's Open category, the Caravaca Ortodent Triathlon Club won the victory, ahead of the Archena Industrias TEQ Triathlon and the JAB Hélios Triathlon.

They participated in the awards ceremonies Cristóbal Casado, Councilor for Sports of the Águilas City Council; Juan Francisco Martínez, General Director of the Murcia Region Tourism Institute; Diego Calvo, President of the Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia; and José Hidalgo, President of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.
