Javier Gómez Noya will compete in the vi half gasteiz 2024

The third edition of the OTSO vi half gasteiz, which will be held on June 1, already has its first big favorite: the five-time triathlon world champion, Javier Gómez Noya.

The Galician, considered one of the best triathletes of all time, has confirmed his participation in the event.

The Galician triathlete, who will compete this year in the PTO T100, will participate in this test looking for a point of form for the San Franciso T100 that will be held on June 8 and 9.

A demanding and spectacular route

Participants in the OTSO vi half gasteiz must complete a 1.900-meter swimming route in the Ulibarri-Gamboa reservoir, 90 kilometers of cycling along the Alava plain and a final half marathon of 21 kilometers through the streets of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

A demanding, but also spectacular, route that runs through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Álava.

A great poster of participants

In addition to Javier Gómez Noya, the event will feature the participation of some of the best national and international triathletes, such as the current champion, Marta Sanchez, the 2022 European champion, Helene Alberdi, or the international triathlete Saleta Castro.

In the men's category, the current champion stands out, Pello Osoro, the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon champion, Emilio Aguayo, and the Gipuzkoan Mikel Mugica.
