The Spaniards go to a new appointment in the European Cup of Triathlon of Geneva

Throughout this weekend, Geneva will become host to a new European Cup ETU Triathlon, both in junior and elite categories. Spain arrives to the appointment with eight triathletes willing to give the best of themselves in Swiss lands.

 

 

The junior competition will be played during the next Saturday 19 in July. A competition in which we will tell with Javier Oliver Vives. The triathletes will have to face a first segment of 750 m swim, followed by 20 km cyclists, to conluir with a stretch of 5 km of running.

 

For its part, the competitions in elite category will be held in the aftermath of the day of Sunday 20 July. In the elite male event we will be represented by Jesús Gomar, Pablo Dapena, Antonio Benito y Fernando López de Sagredo. As long as Sara Bonilla, Paula García Godino y Natalia Fisher will be the Spanish participants in the women's competition.

 

All of them will go into Lake Geneva to make two rounds (1500 m) of swimming. After the departure of the T1, the 40 km cyclists will start on a route formed by a total of six laps that include a difficult slope and very winding turns. Finally, 10 km of foot race for a segment that will develop on asphalt through the streets of the Swiss city, by a circuit that incorporates very technical curves.
