Less than a month for the Triathlon European Cup in Melilla

The next 19 in April, Melilla will become for the first time in its history the venue of a European Cup of Triathlon, holding events in both elite and junior categories. A high-altitude continental event that will feature a large number of triathletes.

In the absence of a month for the celebration of the appointment, the Autonomous City is preparing to receive triathletes from more than 26 countries, among which the strong Spanish representation will stand out. Along with our athletes, participants from Argentina, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Bahrain, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Holland, Philippines, Poland, Portugal will also take the start , Russia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine and Venezuela.

The elite competition will be held in Olympic distance and in the junior category it will be held in sprint distance, in both cases running through the center of the town. The Melilla European Cup is the beginning of a future project that has the organizational support of the Melilla Triathlon Federation, the Melilla institutions and the Spanish Triathlon Federation.
