Age group criteria published Grand Final WTCS Málaga
The Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) has officially announced the selection criteria for the Spanish Age Groups that will participate in the Malaga World Championships, which will be held from October 17 to 20, coinciding with the World Series Grand Final.
Details of the Selection Criteria
The criteria vary depending on the category and distance.
For the Standard Distance Triathlon World Championship, where drafting is not allowed, up to 25 places will be allocated per age group in the Spanish Olympic Triathlon Championship A Coruña 2023, with the rest of the places according to the individual Triathlon ranking after the Spanish Sprint Triathlon Championship A Coruña 2024.
Similarly, for the Sprint distance, where drafting is allowed, and for the Aquabike, places will be assigned following specific criteria.
In the case of the Mixed Relay Triathlon, places will be awarded according to the order of registration.
