Diego Paredes and Ana Filipa Santos win the MD Triathlon of Salamanca, Iberian Championship MD

This weekend the fourth edition of the Medium Distance Triathlon, host of the Iberian MD Championship, was held in Salamanca.

The victory has been for Diego Paredes and the Portuguese Ana Filipa Santos in a test where 380 triathletes have participated where an Olympic distance test has also been held.

The Spaniards have achieved a total of 20 medals among all categories, while the Portuguese added 8, four gold and four bronze

The Extremadura Diego Paredes, winner of the test in 2016, achieved victory with a time of 3.58.5 followed by local triathlete Alberto Bravo (4.05.32), winner in 2015, second in 2016 and third in 2017 and Jorge Duarte (4.08.39.) Occupying the third final position

In the female category Ana Filipa Santos got the first place with a 4.41.16 time followed by Cristina Román y María de la Rubia
