Cidade de Lugo Fluvial wins the Spanish SuperSprint Triathlon championships by clubs

The Iberdrola Triathlon League and the Men's Triathlon League began in Águilas with two intense days that saw each other affected to some extent by the weather changing and the threat of storms.

The start was postponed to noon for safety, and the format was changed in the first of the national titles at stake, suppressing the finals of the Spanish SuperSprint Championship and counting the points of the preliminary series.

The Cidade de Lugo Fluvial he won the male and female category of the first championship, and also took the male category of the Couples Relay championship played in second place.

 The Relay Couples female title was brilliantly achieved by Náutico de Narón.

The sum of the points of the three series played in each of the categories of the Spanish SuperSprint Triathlon Championship by Clubs left the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial champion with a large presence of troops in the top positions of each one in the First Division.

Saltoki Trikideak got second place, and Alusigma Peñota Dental Portugaletekoa the bronze. In the Second Men's Division, the Montilla Córdoba Triathlon achieved the first position, followed by the CEA Bétera and the Olímpico de Vedra.

The SuperSprint for Women's Clubs was also dominated by the triathletes from the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, with a silver medal for Náutico de Narón and a bronze medal for CEA Bétera.

Second division

In the Second Division, great performance by Ondarreta Alcorcón Triathlon, who achieved first place, with the Las Rozas and Tripuçol Triathlon reaching the bronze medal.

With hardly any rest after the morning time adjustment, the Spanish Couples Relay Triathlon Championship was held.

The men's teams began and the race was very exciting with a close fight from the beginning to the end of Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, Saltoki Trikideak and Diablillos de Rivas.

An inopportune slip in the last transition of the third couple relegated Madrid to the bronze medal, while Cidade de Lugo finished off the task with a fierce opposition from Saltoki Trikideak.

In the National Women's Couples Relay, the Náutico de Narón and the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial fought from the beginning and practically until the last segment of the third couple for the victory with Diablillos de Rivas, but the final pull of Sara Guerrero and Natalia Castro faced to Saleta Castro and Iría Rodríguez defined gold. Diablillos closed the second day of the Iberdrola Triathlon League with bronze.

Sunday day
