Emilio Aguayo will not be in St. George due to a heart problem

The Spanish triathlete Emilio Aguayo has announced that he resigns from being in the IRONMAN World Championship from St. George for a heart problem.

Emilio, has told it in a video on his YouTube channel, where he has explained that on January 31 suffered from acute pericarditis.

For several days they have done several tests to try to confirm the diagnosis. In addition, it has been seen that there could be a some degree of hypertrophy in your left ventricle, something common in endurance athletes.

The good news is that already has started training lightly

Because of this Emilio and his trainer Roberto Corujo have decided not to participate in St. George and focus on the October test in Kona.
