In females, Sonia Julia Sánchez He performed a very regular performance, to finally enter the top-10 with a meritorious ninth position. The other Spaniard in the competition, Davinia Albinyana had worse luck, having to retire in the first stages of the race.

 

The triumph was for the great dominator of the competition, the British Katie Hewison. As the local duatleta, Andrea Mayr the silver medal was hung and the French Sandra Levenez the bronze was awarded.

 

Also, Spanish duathletes in age groups male also offered a good role with Jesus Martinez achieving a remarkable sixth place in GG.EE. 20-24.
