Frederik Van Lierde, Chema Martínez and Marcel Zamora join ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN 2014

With the aim of being the mid-distance triathlon circuit par excellence, ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN has announced two new value propositions for this season's events: the special stages and the live timming.

This Wednesday, 26 in February, Madrid has hosted the official presentation of the medium distance triathlon circuit ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN. The news of the morning was the announcement of Chema Martínez. The marathon runner explained that "lately my life is spinning very fast". After saying goodbye to the high competition in 2013, he said that "I am a person who loves challenges and wanted to debut in triathlon. I will do it in Riaza on July 27, I have chosen the best site and I want to try to be a so-gifted finisher, plus".

Along with Chema Martínez, the long distance triathlete Marcel Zamora, five consecutive times champion of the Ironman of Nice and quadruple champion of the EmbrunMan, has supported the presentation of the circuit with his presence. In addition, after staging a brilliant victory at 2013 in Getxo, he confirmed that he will be on the starting line of ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN Salou, the first test of the calendar.

Despite not being physically present, the current World Champion, Frederik Van Lierde, sent an audiovisual message in which he recalled his participation and triumph in ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN Salou 2013 and reported that he will be back on the circuit, this time in the German appointment of Düren, the 1 of June.

6 challenges, 3 countries

For this 2014 season, the brand created by Win Sports goes one step further and presents a complete program with 6 challenges in 3 countries. Existing events include ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN Düren, in Germany, and ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN Riaza, in the province of Segovia and only one hour from Madrid. In addition, it premieres important novelties, among which stand out the real-time monitoring of the position of each participant and the special stages, both in cycling and in the race on foot.

Luis Genero, director of Win Sports Factory, has opened the presentation indicating the goal of the EXTREME MAN project, which is none other than "being leaders in organizational quality". He also explained "the three fundamental criteria that currently define any test of EXTREME MAN: a spectacular and safe cycling circuit, an attractive location and an excellent image care, both in the staging and attention to the triathlete "

Isostar, as the main sponsor, did not want to miss the start of the 2014 season. Representing the brand, Jesús Romero, Head of Sales, confirmed the sponsorship of EXTREME MAN "for the second year in a row" and acknowledged that, "being very satisfied with the results of the previous year, we hope to grow together so that ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN is a reference circuit. "

An ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN in a natural paradise: Riaza

The 27 of July, ISOSTAR EXTREME MAN will move to the Segovian town of Riaza, one of the great novelties of the campaign. In two modes: medium distance (1,9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, 21 km of running on foot) and short (Olympic distance without drafting: 1,5 / 40 / 10), the test can boast of developing in a unique natural environment . With swimming in the Riofrío reservoir, surrounded by mountains and located next to the La Pinilla ski resort; Cycling goes through a demanding route full of slides that crosses the route of the Red Peoples and the race on foot puts an end to the competition with a route of almost flat profile in Riaza.
