The Finnish watch brand incorporates to its team one of the best triathletes in the world, Olympic in Rio de Janeiro and third in 2016 of the world Triathlon series

The family of sportsmen of Suunto this 2017 is extended with a luxury addition. Fernando Alarza, referent of the Spanish triathlon becomes part of the team of the Finnish brand.
 
To his 25 years this young man from Talavera de la Reina already has a record of podium in the world series of triathlon in 2016. This year will continue competing at the highest level, disputing the world series to try to revalidate the good results achieved in the previous campaign, as explained: "My main objective this year is to play the world series and improve the position I got last year. The important thing is to be always in the race because that is what will give us options to repeat a podium, and why not, dream of fighting for the world title".
 
Fernando Alarza uses both the model of competition and the training Suunto Spartan Sport, in its functions of running, cycling and swimming. Explain what: "Especially in cycling I use the power mode, since it gives me the watts both in race and in competition. For the swimming part, I use it in a pool to train, but where I like the most is at sea, because the accuracy of the GPS is very good for measuring circuits in open waters".

Alarza uses the clock both to control his training and to improve his sports performance, as he explained: "Using the Suunto in the training of the three disciplines helps me to have a control of the training, in addition to having everything much more monitored and with more data that help me improve my progression. It is also easy to upload to the Movescount platform and so my coach can access my training almost live and analyze it".

Alarza started the season in the World Series of Abu Dhabi the past 3 of March where he got the fourth position, Later he achieved the third position in Gold Coast about sprint distance. He is currently preparing for the next event on the calendar, which will be held in Yokohama on May 13.
