Gran Triathlon Madrid opens registration on Monday, March 18

With the motto "do it for you"The test wants to invite all those athletes who set themselves the challenge of doing a triathlon to participate and whose preparation helps them to activate themselves training and lead a healthy life. The perfect challenge to train and start the summer with the sporting goal achieved.

The Great Madrid Triathlon will be held in 2024 on June 29 morning. The program includes several distances for all types of athletes; Super Sprint (350 meters swimming, 7,7 kilometers pedaling and 2 kilometers running), Sprint (750m – 20km – 5km) and standard (1500m – 40km -10km), and you can participate individually or in relays.

The individual Sprint and Standard competition is also eligible for the FETRI national ranking, which awards prizes to the best national triathletes, so the sporting level of the competition is very broad, although popular athletes are the bulk of the participants.

Women's Triathlon

This year the “Women's Triathlon”, Super Sprint distance test for all women who want to compete in triathlon, in a very affordable distance for all types of athletes.

Being a popular triathlon, you can compete with both road and mountain bikes in the most popular Sprint and Super Sprint distances, as well as in the women's triathlon, which will encourage people to come and participate.

Team Time Trial Triathlon

On Sunday the Madrid Team Time Trial Triathlon Championship will take place, a scoring event for the Madrid club ranking.

Popular teams will also be able to compete on this day, being a sprint distance competition for everyone.

A great closing for this great triathlon weekend in which more than 3000 athletes are expected to compete.

Registration opening

Registration for all these modalities opens this Monday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m., with an initial period of 7 days with an offer on the registration price (until March 24 at 23:59 p.m.).

For the team time trial, three price periods are also established in the same registration periods; from March 18 to 24; from March 25 to May 31 and from June 1 to 25.

School Triathlon

On Saturday afternoon the tests of the School Triathlon Circuit will be held, where triathletes from Madrid schools and non-federated children who want to try the triathlon can register.

The competition will be open to boys and girls from 6 to 17 years old who will swim, pedal and run through the green lung of Madrid.

Without limit of places, about 800 small triathletes are expected.

For the school test, registration will open three weeks before the test date, as established by the regulations of the FMTRI School Triathlon Circuit.

Collaboration of the Community of Madrid

The Community of Madrid collaborates in the different events of the Great Madrid Triathlon as a joint initiative with the Madrid Triathlon Federation with the aim of promoting the sport of triathlon.

Once again, the Community of Madrid is a benchmark as a venue for all kinds of sporting events, from grassroots sport to the highest sporting level.
