Gustavo Rodríguez and Eva Ledesma win the La Rioja Triathlon
Today the fourth edition of the La Rioja triathlon where the Galician triathlete Gustavo Rodríguez he has achieved his third consecutive victory in the test.
As on other occasions and well known, the potential of Galician in the sector of bikeGustavo forged his victory in this sector. Rodríguez completed the 1900m swim in the Ebro River in fourth position, just under 1 minute behind the leading group.
Time that he was cutting in the 85 km of the bicycle sector reaching T2 with an advantage of 3 minutes over his pursuers, an advantage that even increased in the 21km of race on foot finishing the test in first position and with a time of 3: 38:56 more than 7 minutes from Gonzalo Fuentes y Adur Eskisabel, second and third classified.
In the female category the victory has been for Eva Ledesma followed by Lucia Blanco y Natalia Bermudez
The other favorites to win were Laura Gomez Aida Valiño and others were forced to abandon the race.

The La Rioja Triathlon is a valid test for the Spanish MD Triathlon Cup and after the test held in Pamplona it consolidates the Galician at the top of the classification.
