Gustavo Rodríguez, "I have the thorn in my hand to do a long distance triathlon"

Gustavo, former professional cyclist and current runner-up in Spain in the Medium Distance Triathlon in Posadas, faces his second attempt in a triathlon of this distance in the United States.

 

The next November 2 will be held on Florida Ironman where the Spaniards Gustavo Rodríguez y Víctor del Corral will try to be at the top of the podium

 

 

Gustavo debuted in that distance in the past Challenge Barcelona, where he was disqualified for a wheel change. Although he could have retired, he decided to complete the test to become aware of that distance.

 

Gustavo in statements to Triathlon News comments: “After the puncture in Challenge, to change the wheel and continue the race despite being already disqualified, I have the thorn in my hand to do a long distance triathlon.

 

Despite not entering the general classification, the experience of the Spanish Long Distance Championship overall was good, it is important to feel the sensations of competing in a test of these characteristics and this was my first time ... and yes, the km30 It was hard.

Thanks to the brands that support me, today I can consider the objective of competing in the Ironman of Florida next November 02, I am very excited. In the 2014 my goal will be to adapt to the long distance thinking of the 2015 in order to achieve the necessary score to compete in Hawaii "
