The Half Triathlon Pamplona Iruña suspended.
The organization has made the decision in advance due to widespread uncertainty regarding the pandemic.
The sixth edition of the Half Triathlon Pamplona Iruña it won't finally see the light until 2021.
The decision has been made by the organization based on the uncertainty that marks the Covid-19 pandemic in society in general and regarding sporting events in particular.
In a statement sent by the organization they commented:
"Given the uncertain evolution of the pandemic and doubts they plan regarding the celebration of sporting events, We have thought that going ahead with the scheduled date in these conditions was not the best for our triathletes.
Although it has been a difficult decision, we believe that postponing the event in advance leaves a reasonable margin for those registered to manage the logistics derived from an event of the characteristics of the Half Triathlon Pamplona Iruña.";
They have offered different options for the participants
Through an email to the participants enrolled in the test scheduled for September, the organization has sent different options in order to resolve the inconvenience as far as possible.
May 15, 2021 the new date
The date chosen for the celebration of the sixth Half Triathlon Pamplona Iruña is May 15, 2021.
