El CT Isbilya from Seville and Cidade de Lugo Fluvial as brand new champions of Spain in the male and female category respectively.

A day marked by rain

Sunday morning dawned with rain, so the dispute of the Sunday races was under water.

The first athletes to participate were duathletes from Open competitions, with victories for Montilla de Córdoba in the men's event and the Madrilenians of Diablillos de Rivas in the women's.

Elite test

Next, it was the male Elite category's turn, which presented a very competitive dispute for the medals with several teams presenting a team of the highest quality.

Men

Finally, the victory went to the Andalusians of the Isbilya, who saw how their last reliever, Genís Grau, entered first position in goal. After them, the silver medal went to the components of the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, and the bronze for the Andalusians of the CT Montilla.

The next title at stake was that of Spanish Relay Duathlon Champions in the Elite category and the Galician women of the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial They achieved victory again as in the previous day, signing a double in Alcobendas and also adding the title of Relay Duathlon Champions of Spain.

Along with them on the podium, the silver went to him Saltoki Trikideak and the bronze for Imps of Rivas, who fought for third place until the end with the Galicians from AD Náutico de Narón.

Cadet, Junior and talents

The championships held in Alcobendas closed the tests of the second day of the National League of Triathlon Talent Clubs, with the National Relay dedicated to the cadet and junior categories, in which Saltoki Trikideak achieved four spectacular victories, taking gold in elite and open.

The main podium of the Male Talent Relay was made up of Saltoki, Diablillos Rivas and CEA Bétera, while the women's podium was for Saltoki, Capex and Diablillos Rivas.

In the men's open category, Saltoki got gold, silver went to CEA Bétera and bronze to Diablillos Rivas, while the women's podium, also for Saltoki in first position, was completed by Náutico de Narón and CN Barcelona.

The Councilor for Sports of the Alcobendas City Council, María Espín, participated in the awards ceremonies of the day together with Sara Herrero, General Secretary of the Madrid Triathlon Federation, and Paco Soriano, president of the Ecosport Alcobendas Triathlon club, hosts of the event.
