The Galician triathlete Javier Gómez Noya, world triathlon pentacampeón, and the open water swimmer Lucia Cal, of the Royal Yacht Club of Vigo, were imposed yesterday in the sixth edition of the San Simón crossing, which had an outstanding participation of professional swimmers and triathletes.

The swimming crossing consisted of covering 1.800 meters and Noya has used it in preparation for the Grand Final next weekend and the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 of Nice in the month of September.

Noya has met the forecasts and has won the test with a time of 19: 32 followed by Víctor Benages to 9 seconds and by Víctor Benages and 15.

In the women's category the victory went to Lucia Cal, which made an 1: 15 and was the ninth ranked at absolute level. Ana Perez It was second and Tamara Gómez It was third.

The test was suspended last August 10 due to the presence of a fecal bacterium on the beach of Cesantes that forced the Council to place the red flag on the sand and advise against the bathroom. Yesterday could be celebrated normally
