After analyzing all the elements of the report, the AMA offers a favorable opinion to the decision of the Used one, supported by the jurisprudence.

The announcement of the AMA comes a week after the International Cycling Union (UCI) was favorable to the decision of the USA, so it eliminated the 7 Tours of France from the record of Armstrong, despite having shown criticism in some aspects with the anti-doping agency.

"The AMA has no doubts about the entire process, it is more about the opinion that the actions of Usada have highlighted the need to report all cases of doping in athletes, in order to present sufficient evidence that serves to get rid of cheaters ”, he points out in a statement from the AMA its president, John Fahey.
