Mediterranean Triathlon starts on Sunday in Valencia, with the València Duathlon by MTRI

This Sunday, the streets of València will be filled with energy and sport with the start of the Mediterranean Triathlon, which this year presents a novelty: the duathlon format.  

The event, called Valencia Duathlon by MTRI, promises to be a turning point in the city's sporting calendar, attracting athletes of all ages and abilities. 

A Unique Competition with Strong Female Participation  

With more than 350 registered, the València Duathlón by MTRI stands out for its high female participation, exceeding 40%.  

This data not only reflects the growing interest of women in triathlon, but also the reception of the new MTRI format as a gateway to this sport.  

The competition is presented as an ideal opportunity to get started in the world of triathlon, thanks to its affordable distances: 1,5 km of running, 6 km of cycling and a last kilometer of running.

Logistics and Event Programming  

The organization of the event has planned detailed logistics to ensure a fluid and pleasant experience for all participants. 

The bib collection will take place at Decathlon Campanar, from Friday, January 19 at 17.00:20 p.m. until Saturday, January 21 at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.  

On Sunday, The transition area will open from 8.15:XNUMX a.m. on Paseo de la Alameda, with the tests starting at 9.30:XNUMX a.m. from the Puente de las Flores. 

Postmeta Services and Club Space  

In addition to the competition, participants will enjoy post-meta services, including fruit, drinks, sweet supplies and massages, courtesy of CIM Formación.  

The organization has also enabled a space for triathlon clubs at the Puente de las Flores, where athletes will be able to socialize and share experiences.
