The first Indoor Triathlon European Cup was born
The next March 2 will be held in France
The French city of Lievin, will host the first month of March the first Indoor Trilaton European Cup. It will be held at the LIEVIN ARENA INDOOR STADIUM with 4.500 seats and capacity for 6.000 spectators. This year it has been included in the calendar of European Cups ETU
In this Indoor Multideporte stadium, you will be able to see a test that will unite the triathlon, competition and spectacle, since there will be a DJ to give atmosphere.
Where will each sector be held?
The swimming will be done in a pool of 25 meters by 15 meters wide, specially prepared for this event. The cycling sector will run outside on the indoor track, while the foot race will be entirely indoors, on the same stage where various world records have been achieved.
The test will have a format of qualifying rounds, repechages, semifinals and the Grand Final where the winner will take 1.250 €
The distance chosen for the competition was 150 meters of swimming, 3 km of cycling and 1 km of running.
In addition to this competition there is a Junior European Cup, an Aquatlon, children's triathlon and many more tests seeking maximum participation.
