Challenge Salou Costa Daurada will debut with a new race circuit on foot

Completely flat, the new route responds to the demand of the triathletes and will allow to face the final stretch of the competition with the support of the public.

The next 31 of May, Challenge Salou Costa Daurada will live its inaugural edition and will do it by opening a new completely flat race on foot. This new circuit is the result of a long process of work by the organization and the City Council of Salou, which arises in response to the request of the triathletes, who, over time, have expressed their desire to have a journey like the one that is now confirmed.

Run with public support

The new proposal proposes a circuit that runs parallel to the sea, crossing the two promenades of Salou: Passeig Jaume I and Passeig de Miramar. Designed to four laps, one of the great virtues of this layout is that, at all times, the triathlete will have the heat of the public.

Flat, simple and very fast, the foot race will be, in addition, the main point of animation of Challenge Salou, which aims to emulate the mythical Solar Hill of Challenge Roth and bring the triathletes to the same finish line.
