It will be one of the best races of the season, where almost all the TOP10 of last year's Ranking compete.

Abu Dhabi will be charged one more year to give the kick-off to the 2018 Triathlon World Series, where in the 3 editions that only Spaniards have achieved victory, 2015 and 2016 Mario Mola and last year Javier Gómez Noya.

8 of the TOP10 ITU Ranking will take the start in the men's event

The men will be the first to compete and the Triarmada will be represented by Mario Mola, current world champion, Fernando Alarza, 5º in WTS 2017, Vicente Hernández 13º last year in the WTS and Uxío Abuín 24º in the ITU world ranking.

The departure list of the test has a lot of level, since it has 8 of the Top10 of the World Ranking last year. Unfortunately they will not be Javier Gómez Noya, focused on medium distance tests, and Alistair Brownlee, who announced that he does not participate because of an injury.
