Upcoming objectives of Mario Mola and Javier Gómez Noya

The Super League Triathlon has proved to be a spectacular event where 25 triathletes of the highest level have participated.

After three intense days of competition on the Australian island of Hamilton, the Majorcan Mario Mola I finished in second place overall while Javier Gómez Noya was fourth.

Mario Mola managed to sign one of the more regular performances being fourth in Friday's test, second in Saturday's and second also in Sunday's, a sensational performance that was only surpassed by his training partner Richard Murray , 4º in the 2016 JJOO and current duathlon world champion, who won the first two stages and the one on Sunday was enough to be 3º to ensure the leadership

Mario Mola will return to the competition at Gold Coast World Triathlon Series, to be held on the 8 and 9 weekend in April.

"He has been physically very demanding due to the heat, the hardness of the circuit and the very explosive racing formats. I am happy with the result. I want to congratulate the organizers for the work they have done. I think this new test circuit is very good for our sport".

Meanwhile Javier Gómez Noya has returned to demonstrate his versatility and has been close to the head in all the sleeves, although he has encountered the tough competition of younger and explosive triathletes, hence the fourth place can not be considered a bad result.
