Ruzafa already got the title in 2008

 

The malagueño  Rubén Ruzafa got on Sunday afternoon proclaim himself Xterra 2013 World Champion in Maui (Hawaii)

 

 

Rubén, who climbed positions in the bike sector, managed to reach the first position 10 km from the end of the segment, and maintained the advantage until the end where he arrived with a final time of 2:34:34, ahead of the second classified by 1:28 Ben Allen and 1:51 on Asa Shaw I occupy the third place.

 

In the women Nicky Samuels, Olympic triathlete, surprised everyone with his victory. Samuels got the victory with a final 2 time: 57: 49, followed by Lesley Paterson to 2: 26 and from Flora Duffy to 2: 31.

 

With this victory, Spain demonstrates its potential in this type of competition, revalidating the title won by Javier Gómez Noya in 2012 and Eneko Llanos in 2003, 2004 and 2009
