Saltoki Trikideak and Cidade de Lugo Fluvial win the Spanish Duathlon Championships for Clubs in Valladolid

Valladolid hosted the fourth day of the National League of Duathlon Clubs with the dispute of the Spanish Duathlon Championships for Clubs in Third, Second and First Division.

The spectacle of the running and cycling segments flooded the Isabel la Católica park and the entire area of ​​Las Moreras beach, with a large following of the public on a spring day in the capital of Pucelana.

Female category

Saltoki Trikideak It prevailed in the Women's First Division with the sum of points of its athletes in the race, established based on the general classification of the individual event.

The second drawer of the female podium was for Imps from Rivas, and the bronze Barcelona.

The women's individual race was won by Marion Laurie Legrand, from Marlins Triathlon Madrid, with a time of 1:00:11, followed by María Varo, from Tri Infinity Móstoles, and Camila Alonso, from CEA Bétera.

Male category

In the men's First Division competition the title went to Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, in front of Saltoki Trikideak and the Soriano Triathlon.

Javier Martín, from Marlins Triathlon Madrid, was the first individual classified with a time of 53:39, ahead of Alric Maël, from Flor de Triatló, and Adrien Latestere, from Saltoki Trikideak.

In the Second Division, the titles went to Montilla Córdoba Women's Triathlon, followed by Triathlon Soriano and La 208 Triathlon Club; and male ADSevilla, with silver for Katoa Barcelona and bronze for Tri Infinity Móstoles.

Finally, in the Third Division, the championships were won by the Real Club Mediterráneo de Málaga for women and the men's La 208 Triathlon Club, completing the women's podium Tritones Rioja and CN Barcelona, ​​and the men's Triathlon Ondarreta Alcorcón and CEA Bétera.

Alberto Bustos, Councilor for Citizen Participation and Sports of the Valladolid City Council, and José Hidalgo, President of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, presented the trophies and medals of the day.

The competitions will continue tomorrow, Sunday, March 27, starting at 10 a.m. with the Spanish Triathlon Championship for Mixed Talent Relays, the first day of the National League of Talent Triathlon Clubs, reserved for the cadet and youth categories.

At 12 p.m. The last championship of the weekend will begin, with the national Duathlon titles for Mixed Relays at stake, and the points of the fifth day of the National League of Duathlon Clubs.
