Yesterday, the Trail modality of this test was suspended and today the Triathlon-Cross has been canceled

The organization has published the following statement:

"The organization of the Sports Area of ​​the Cabildo de Lanzarote, communicates that due to the strong wind with very intense gusts and the adverse weather situation, aggravated by the particular conditions of the Island, especially Caleta de Sebo and Montaña Amarilla, it has decided to SUSPEND all events planned for this event. "

It is a test chosen by many professionals

The Eighth Island Challenge is a sports event composed of the Triathlon-Cross modalities (1000 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 6 km running) and Trail (in 31, 20 or 8 km), where participants have the opportunity to enjoy the sport in a unique environment, that of La Graciosa.

It is a test chosen by many professional triathletes who are preparing the season on the island, such as Alejandro Santamaría or Peru Alfaro among others
