2024 Abu Dhabi World Triathlon Series Canceled

In a decision marked by the commitment to the safety of its participants, the 2024 Triathlon World Series, the Paratriathlon Cup and the Abu Dhabi Mixed Relay have been cancelled.

The scheduled dates for these events, Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9, have been affected by severe adverse weather conditions, which has led the organization to make this difficult decision.

Athlete safety has always been a priority for the International Triathlon Federation, and in light of the bad weather forecasts that could have compromised the well-being of the participants, there has been no other option than cancellation.

This preventive measure responds to the responsibility of the organization of Do not put competitors at risk under any circumstances.

The determination to cancel the events was a joint decision between the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the International Triathlon Federation.
