800 triathletes will start at the Škoda Triathlon Series Getxo

Getxo opens as a short-distance venue within the national triathlon circuit Skoda Triathlon Series

This Sunday, 21 of September, Getxo opens as a short distance venue within the national triathlon circuit Skoda Triathlon Series. The competition, suitable for the popular athlete, will have 800 triathletes on the starting line to face the three available distances: Supersprint (individual), Sprint (individual and by relays) and Olympic (individual and by relays).

With the urban beach of Ereaga as the central axis of the event, the circuit will tour emblematic points of the city such as the Hanging Bridge that connects the town of Getxo with that of Portugalete.

Next stop: Gavà and Málaga

After the Triathlon of Getxo, the Skoda Triathlon Series faces the last dates of the season. It will be in Gavà, 28 in September, and in Malaga, 4 in October, the city where the 2014 campaign will end.
