Slovenian Middle Distance European Championship suspended
Fear and uncertainty of a possible second wave of the virus have made the difficult decision to cancel this race.
The ETU has published a statement updating the test schedule to be held in Europe this year
In this update 3 events have been confirmed, but The European Middle Distance Triathlon Championship has been canceled, that of Aquabike and Aquathlon that was to be held on September 18 and 20 in the Challenge Bled due to the coronavirus pandemic
The National Triathlon Federation of Slovenia has reported that due to primary concerns about financial implications, along with the fear and uncertainty of a possible second of the virus, they have made the difficult decision to cancel this race.
Racing calendar update
Among the confirmed events are Riga, Olsztyn and European Championship in TartuIn addition to 10 other events expected to take place in September to provide an exciting end to the triathlon season.
