The Portocolom Triathlon and the Let's Tri circuit, present at the 2014 Triathlon Show in London

El Portocolom International Triathlon, which is celebrated the next 13 in April and has been recently awarded as 'Triathlon of the year in the Balearics', and the innovator Let's Tri circuit that has already announced the dates of Alcudia Olympic Duathlon (March 22) and the Pollença Triathlon (6 in September), will be present at the most prestigious fair in the world of triathlon in London, the Triathlon Show 2014, 28 days for February and 1 and 2 for March.

 

 

It is an initiative of Kumulus, organizer of Portocolom and Let's Tri, which aims to promote this sport internationally in Mallorca and attract more international triathletes who take advantage of the weather conditions of the Balearic Islands for long training stages and to compete in first level events.

 

The Balearic Islands triathlon will have a prominent representation in the next Triathlon Show 2014 that will be held in London with a stand and various promotional activities aimed at positioning the Portocolom Triathlon and the two tests that make up the Let's Tri circuit (Alcudia and Pollença) at the European level and attract more British triathletes to Mallorca.

 

Kumulus will have a stand in the next Triathlon Show (28 in February and 1 and 2 in March) which takes place in the exhibition area of ​​the Sandown Park racetrack, in London, and that after 12 editions has established itself as the most important fair in Great Britain and a global reference with all the main continental brands and events, dedicated solely and exclusively to triathlon.

 

The organization figures in more than 7.000 visitors who come to the Triathlon Show. Triathlon of Portocolom and Let's Tri join forces and will also develop some promotional events and actively participate not only with a stand, but will be present at the seminars, competitions around the fair and meetings with the main references of the triathlon industry.

 

Both the Let's Tri circuit and the Portocolom International Triathlon want to consolidate as a benchmark for British triathletes in terms of high-quality sports events and organization and perfect destinations for stages and training camps in a suitable environment and climate.

 

Recently, the Balearic Triathlon Federation has recognized the International Triathlon of Portocolom as "the best 2013 Triathlon of the year in the Balearic Islands" after collecting the results of the survey in which the Balearic triathletes were able to participate. This award is a great support to the organization of this traditional test that meets seventeen editions 13 April, practically starting the continental season and becoming a reference. The Portocolom International Triathlon maintains the attractive 55.5 and 111 formats (1 kilometer of swimming, 100 of cycling and 10 of foot race). Registration is open on the official website www.triathlonportocolom.com and there will be a limit of 800 available seats, 400 for each distance.

 

Let's Tri is a Balearic circuit of international events and has already put two of its star appointments for 2014. He Alcudia Olympic Duathlon the March 22 will take place (Olympic format: 10 km of running, 40 km of cycling and other 5 kilometers of running to the finish line) and the participation of a good number of good-level triathletes who train in Mallorca at this time, taking advantage of a spectacular enclave with a great sporting tradition such as Alcudia.

 

El Pollença Triathlon (28 of September) is a very special and attractive test, and will surely be international reference in few editions thanks to its hardness and its spectacular route. Swimming (1.900 meters) will take place in the crystal clear waters of Pollença. The cycling segment of 60 km runs through the most beautiful part ofl Ironman 70.3 Mallorca in the north of the island between Port de Pollença, Escorca, Caimari, Selva, Campanet and Pollença. The 10 km foot race is also particularly demanding, even crossing some trail running trails, with a sustained climb to the 300 m altitude between the 3 and 5 kilometers.
