A professional triathlete expelled 6 months from Zwift for cheating

Tampered with power meter data

According to the Triathlonmagazine website, the Israeli triathlete Antonina Reznikova has been expelled from the virtual cycling platform Zwift for having intentionally manipulated the data of a competition.

Reznikov was bronze medal at the 2018 World Long Distance Duathlon Championships

This has been the decision of the Verification Board which discovered that on January 11 there was intentionally manipulated data during a Zwift Racing League event

According to the decision , "LZwift's automated systems identified that the data recorded from the rider's power meter could have been edited and this warranted further investigation «.

Upon investigation, the Board determined that the data presented by Reznikov was 32% higher than the originally recorded values.

When Zwift asked the triathlete, she initially denied having edited the file, although she later "acknowledged that her energy data had changed before sending it to Zwift."
