Víctor del Corral winner of XTerra Switzerland

The Spanish Víctor del Corral was imposed last weekend in the Xterra of Switzerland, held in the town of Les Charbonnieres in the Vallèe de Joux and which is scored for the XTerra Wold Tour 2013.

 

 

The low temperatures of both the lake water and the environment, meant that swimming could not be contested for the safety of the triathletes, and that the test was become a duathlon, where athletes would have to travel a distance of 5-24-10.

 

A few kilometers after starting the race, Victor took the lead, reaching T1 with a few seconds advantage over his rivals.

 

On the two wheels we saw Victor in the lead during the first lap, at which point he was hit by Hector GuerraAfter a few kilometers together, Hector finally left, arriving first at T2 with an 45 advantage "over Victor.

 

The last 10kms on foot served for Victor to put on leader in the 4 km and it will rise with its second victory in a test of the world circuit of XTerra after the victory achieved in the XTerra of France in 2011.

Before taking a small break and resting a few days, Victor will compete the next 7 day at the XTERRA France and, the following week will have appointment in the Tri Cros ITU World Championship in Den Haag, where last year he won the title of European champion. In this way, it will end its first cycle of the season.

 

The second cycle will begin in September with an important objective, the Lake Tahoe IM, which will be prepared with the ISOSTAR Extrem Man from Narbonne, where will you have a presence like the year before?

 

After this IM, Victor will compete in the second test  Experience 100k, this time in Mallorca, and will end the season with the XTERRA World Championship in Maui.
