The race becomes a duathlon due to the disappearance of a person at the mouth of the Guadalquivir

Hours after performing the presentation of the career the organization of Doñana Challenge has sent a press release, which states that the test will be will turn into a duathlon because a person has disappeared at the mouth of the Guadalquivir.

Full statement:

The organization Doñana Challenge 2013 reports that for reasons of the disappearance of a person outside the competition, which occurred at the mouth of the Guadalquivir this morning, in the transit zone of the swimming segment, it is forced to modify the test by deleting the mentioned segment.

The organization is designing a duathlon consisting of the cycling segment as planned and the walking segment to be held on the beach of Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

In due course, all the details of the new layout will be reported and formally communicated in the informative briefing provided to the 19'30 h, in the Municipal Pavilion of Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
