The Swiss Ronnie Schildknecht and the American Jessie Donavan win the Ironman of South Africa

Schildknecht who invested a time of 52: 48 in traversing the 3800 meters of swimming, 4: 22: 01 in completing the cycling sector and 2: 53: 03 in the marathon (42km) easily got the victory with a final time of 8: 11 : 24.

 

In second place I enter French Cyril Vienno with a final time of 8: 19: 51, got the best time in the marathon with 2: 48: 35, but because it came out in the 11ª position of the bike, it did not get to Schildknecht. The third position was for the Dutch  Bas Diederen with a final time of 8: 20: 09

 

The best Spaniards in the test were Jon Unanue that I finish in the 17ª position e Iván Álvarez Gomez in 18ª. Alejandro Santamaría I give up the test in the marathon sector.

 

In the women Donavan that came out of the water with 17 minutes of disadvantage over the British  Jodie Swallow, I recover everything in the marathon sector where he invested 3:09:11 which gave him the first place of the test with a final time of 9:10:58. In second position I enter  Jodie Swallow  almost 6 minutes and the third place was won by the Czech Lucie Reed  with 9: 27: 07.

 

Saleta Castro, the only representative in the female category, I finish the test in 11ª position with a final time of 10: 27: 28
