Ibiza, ready for the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship

This Sunday we will meet the new Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Champions.

The current champion, Gustavo Rodríguez he arrives at the appointment with the purpose of endorsing the national scepter, even knowing that “the key is going to be the mental freshness that we bring and how we have assimilated everything we have done before. The motivation to revalidate the title is very great and, furthermore, to do it in an unbeatable setting ”.

For its part, Judith Corachan commented after recognizing his enthusiasm for the circuit and asked about his rivals said that "the thing is always close, but I will try to make my career and I hope that I get it right, although it is a very long test and everything can happen".

A competition that returns to Ibiza full of optimism and enthusiasm. An event that will bring together about 350 triathletes on the island of Pitiusa.

After taking the exit at the beach of Figueretas, the participants will have to do two laps (4 km) of swimming bordering the Island of the Rats. On their way out, they will head towards the transition zone to start the 120 km cyclists that will visit some of the enclaves of the Balearic island. Over two laps, the triathletes will cross villages such as Puig den Valls, San Mateo and Santa Inés, in a segment composed of very technical turns. A winding section, with ups and downs and with a positive slope of 850 m. At its conclusion, three laps of 10 km each will be subtracted, along the municipality's seafront with turns of 180º.
