Five Spanish paratriathletes attend the ITU World Paratriathlon Event in South Africa

This weekend the ITU World Paratriathlon Events returns, with a first stop in Buffalo City, in the Republic of South Africa. 

 

 

This Sunday 1 March, Spain will have five participants in the different categories that make up the competition that marks the beginning of the international season.

To start a first round of 750 m swimming with the start at Orient beach. Then two cycling laps of 10 km each, which incorporates 90º curves and some slopes with gradients of 9%. The final leg of the 5 km walking race will take place over two laps on a flat circuit in front of the beach.

The first major international event will feature a broad representation of Spain, beginning with José Vicente Arzo in PT1 and with Toni Franco y Rafa Solis as Spanish references in the PT4 category. While in females, Eva Moral will take the exit at PT1 and Rakel Mateo will do the same in PT2.
