Duathlon LD Torreón de los Guzmanes-Caleruega opens inscriptions

On March 21, the first edition of the event will be held in the town of Caleruega (Burgos). Long Distance Duathlon Torreón de los Guzmanes, where the duathletes will face 10 km of running race, followed by 80 km of cycling to finish the race with 21 km of running race.

El Duathlon LD Torreón de los Guzmanes-Caleruega, will Cutting times for all the participants since they will have to complete the first 10 km in less than 55 minutes, the cycling segment in less than 4 hours and the test with a maximum time for completion in a circuit designed by the paratriathlete and World Champion LD 2011 in its modality, Diego Velazquez, better known as "JabalíMan" who will be able to stamp on this event, ensuring the spectacular nature of the circuit.

The first sector of the race on foot will go through the "path of the lobera”, Where the duathletes will go through a Vulture feeder, an oak over 600 years and one the Roman road from CLVNIA SVLPICIA in a landscape steeped in history. The cycling sector that will be a single lap, similar to a classic cycling event, in a fast circuit and with a perfect asphalt that will allow to roll at high speeds.

The last 19 km of the test will be carried out entirely in the historic village of Caleruega, where the duathletes will be covered at all times by the public of the town and that the final route will have a pass through the OTM Cross.

The limit of 200 participants This test will have its own insurance so the registration process will be open to all athletes who dare with this spectacular challenge, both federated and non-federated, while their family members and / or companions will be able to enjoy the activities that will be carried out in the host locality.
