Andrew Starykowicz He has got it back. The best triathlete in the world on the bicycle has established the best record of all time in a half Ironman. Starykowicz has made the 90 kilometers of the Ironman 70.3 of Miami in an impressive time of 1h.56'11 '', to a scandalous average of 46'55km / h.

A new milestone for the triathlete of Orbea and Orca, who had already pulverized the cycling record of the Challenge Roth last July. So far the combination Andrew Starykowicz + new Ordu breaks a record every time he competes, honoring the concept with which we created the fifth generation of our model against the clock: achieve "the time of your life".

The new Ordu is born from the work of the designers, engineers and product managers of Orbea and the collaboration with Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Thanks to all of them, and to the tests carried out with our cyclists and triathletes, we have achieved a revolutionary design and develop elements that improve aerodynamics, such as the FreeFlow fork or the shape of the tubes.

An efficient, adaptable and performance-oriented machine, with which Andrew Starykowicz has once again amazed the entire triathlon world. In the final classification, Andrew ranked second with a total time of 3h45'52 ''. The winner was the German Michael Raelert, who won this Ironman 70.3 for the second time in a row.
